This is an original linocut of Hooded Mergansers, signed in pencil by Robert Gillmor. A vibrant limited edition linocut, being No.61 of 70, with the stylish flare of Gillmor, which is now much coveted. Robert Allen Fitzwilliam Gillmor, MBE (1936 – 2022) was a British ornithologist, artist, illustrator, author, and editor. He was a co-founder of the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) and was its secretary, chairman and president. He contributed to over 100 books, most notably the New Naturalist series. Size: 9in x 12.6in (23cm x 32cm.)
