The full title of this work is Raccolta di No. 100 Soggetti Li Pi? Rimarchevoli dell’Istoria Romana inventati ed incisi da Bartolomeo Pinelli Romano illustrata da Fulvia Bertocchi This plate is entitled: Cleopatra sorpresa da Proculejo vuole immergersi un pugnale, nel seno, ma viene dal medesimo trattenuta – Cleopatra, surprised by Proculejo, wants to kill herself.
This fine etching is over 200 years old.

Condition: Some minor age related marks otherwise very good condition
