By Beadsman out of Bas Bleu – Trained by Porter – Ridden by John Wells.Pretender was the wWinner of the 2000 Guineas STakes at Newmarket and the Derby Stakes at Epsom 1869. By Adventurer out of Ferina. Trained by Dawson….Ridden by J Osborne. Ayrshire was the winner of the Derby Stakes at Epsom 1886.
