Sherman Foote Denton (1856-1937) is best known for the nature drawings that he was commissioned to illustrate for the US Fish Commission (later the US Fish and Wildlife Service) and the Forest, Fish and Game Commission of New York State. Born in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
