These antique chromolithographic prints are from Glaucus: or Wonders of the Shore by Charles Kingsley Published by MacMillan & Co, London 1859.
Charles Kingsley was also the author of Westward Ho!, The Water Babies etc.
The hand-coloured plates were engraved by William Dickes.
