These two lithographs of The Marriage Room in the Hotel de Ville and The Bourse are from Sketches in Belgium and Germany with drawings by Louis Haghe. Published by Henry Graves and Co. London and printed by Day and Haghe 1840.
The most famous early Victorian firm of lithographic printing was created by William Day and Louis Haghe in London in 1829. Day and Haghe were appointed lithographers to the Queen.
