This rare hand-coloured copper plate engraving is from British Ornithology: being the History with a coloured representation of every known species of birds by George Graves. Published by Stephen Couchman, London 1811.
The plates were etched by Graves, William Samuel Howitt and Weddell after drawings by Graves, Howitt and Sydenham Edwards.
